Our PPO Network

As one of Missouri’s leading health care coverage providers, our goal is to help you take better care of yourself, your family and your employees. As an affiliate of CoxHealth, you’ll have access to one of the region’s largest local provider networks, encompassing dozens of hospitals and clinics, staffed by outstanding physicians and specialists.

First Health Network

To keep you covered wherever you go, we are pleased to partner with First Health to provide Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) network services outside of our own network area. When seeking care outside of the Cox HealthPlans service area below, PPO members can lower their out-of-pocket expenses by taking advantage of this wrap network.

First Health is one of the leading PPO networks in the United States. Their network consists of providers and hospitals in urban, suburban and rural areas throughout the United States (including the District of Columbia).

To locate a First Health Network provider call (800) 226-5116 Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. (CST), or you can call our Member Services department for information at (417) 269-2900 or toll free at (800) 205-7665 or you can click on First Health to find a provider.

*The First Health Network is not applicable to Exclusive Provider Organization (EPO) plans.

Our EPO Network

The Cox HealthPlans EPO network offers comprehensive care within the preferred CoxHealth network. When you or your family need medical care, you can choose from doctors, health professionals, and facilities operating in our network of participating health professionals. These plans pay no benefits for out-of-network expenses except for Emergency and/or Urgent Care service situations, as well as certain mental health services.
