The vision for Cox HealthPlans Provider Services Department is to meet and exceed the expectations of all our Providers by offering friendly, professional answers to meet their individual needs by a staff engaged in excellent customer service.
Health Insurance Plans We Offer
We offer several types of health insurance plans in the Springfield and southwest Missouri regions including:
- Cox Health Systems Insurance Company Group PPO Plan
- Cox Health Systems Insurance Company Individual PPO Plan
- L.E. Cox Medical Centers Employees Self-Funded Plan
PPO Members
Group and Individual PPO members are not required to select a PCP. For a list of services that require prior authorization, you can download our Provider Manual. When a PPO member utilizes a non-Network Provider, it is the member’s responsibility to obtain prior authorization for services that require authorization. PPO Members are responsible for varying deductibles, co-pays and co-insurance amounts per their plan. See Provider Manual
