Opioid overdose response training offered free to the community
The Stone and Taney Counties Substance Abuse Initiative is hosting Substance Misuse: Opioid Overdose and Naloxone Administration Training sessions for area business owners, leaders and community members.
The free two-hour training session is available at 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday, March 16, in the conference room at Arrowhead Building Supply Inc., 181 Hollister Pointe Dr., in Hollister. The free training is provided by the Substance Abuse Initiative in partnership with CoxHealth, Skaggs Foundation, Hollister Area Chamber of Commerce, Community Partnership of the Ozarks, and the MO-HOPE Project. The Stone and Taney Counties Substance Abuse Initiative is a grant-funded project aimed at reducing and preventing substance use and misuse. It is led by CoxHealth and funded by a Skaggs Legacy Endowment grant.
