Independence Day Events and Firework Shows

Make your 4th of July a blast in Springfield. Enjoy a holiday of independence with the Old-Fashioned Fourth of July Parade & Celebration, Fireworks at the Field or Life 360's free event, Freedom Fest.

Springfield's 25th Annual 4th of July Parade & Celebration:

The parade begins on July 4th, at 10am on Benton Ave., just north of Central High, turns right on Calhoun (by Drury Historic Presidents Home), left on Washington Ave. and right on East Locust to Washington Park. Events at Historic Washington Park continue until 1pm with live music by The Norman Jackson Band, games, awards, ice cream and cold drinks.

Hammons Field Fireworks at the Field:

There will be an array of events at the “Fireworks at the Field”. Events include the Springfield Cardinals game, a post game concert and then the region’s largest fireworks celebration at the ballpark.

Celebrate for Free with Life360 Freedom Fest:

Life360 Freedom Fest at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds on July 4th will be Springfield's most extravagant FREE fireworks show this year. They will have bounce houses, food and concessions. Gates open at 6pm and the fireworks display in the Ozarks will start at sundown.

Have-A-Blast Patriotic Celebration

This event is in Republic on July 1st, at 6pm. Have-A-Blast is a fun filled evening of great live music, mouth-watering food, family entertainment and a spectacular fireworks show at dusk. The event will also feature numerous games and fun activities for the whole family including inflatables, carnival games and more!
