First Annual Heart Burn Brigade

As part of the Heroes for Healthy Hearts campaign, on Thursday, February 14, join Cox Health in Foster Auditorium from 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. for a benefit chili cook off, bake sale and silent auction, with proceeds going to CoxHealth Foundation’s heart and vascular fund supporting cardiac patients.

Chili cook off: Participants will be squaring off for the Judge’s Choice prize for the best tasting chili in the First Annual Heart Burn Brigade Braggin’ Rights for the Best Chili contest. You can vote for the People’s Choice award! The cost is $5 for a bowl of chili and all the fixings courtesy of U.S. Food, plus up to three samples of the chili in the competition so you can vote for your favorite.

Silent auction: Take your time to look over amazing baskets and bid on your favorite during the silent auction featuring baskets full of gifts that will be perfect for your Valentine, or yourself!

Heart sales: There will also be Heroes Hearts for sale for $2 each at the event.
